Tara Lynn Teshima, MD, FRCPC, FRCSC, is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Dr. Teshima, attended plastic surgery residency at the University of Alberta and subsequently moved to Toronto to complete advanced fellowship training in adult craniofacial surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the Odette Cancer Centre. She has an interest in facial trauma and the treatment and management of skin cancer. She is dedicated to medical education and was nominated for the Zane Cohen Fellowship Award for her contributions towards research and resident education. She participates in medical volunteer work in the Ukraine treating wounded soldiers with facial injuries.
