Sarah Gander, MD, FRCPC, is a General Pediatrician in Saint John, New Brunswick. She has a diverse practice and is director of the local pediatric oncology clinic. Dr. Gander is the Pediatric Clerkship Director for Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick (DMNB) and faculty at both Dalhousie University and Memorial University of Newfoundland. She did her residency training at Queen's University. Dr Gander has clinical interests in behavioral issues and the social determinants of health. Her scholarly pursuits are mainly in these fields and she mentors many students through the Research in Medicine Program at Dalhousie. Dr Gander has nearly completed her masters in Adult Education for Health Professionals at the University of New Brunswick. She is an outdoor enthusiast participating in many sports and fitness activities. She is also a wife, and the mother of a beautiful little boy.
