R. Lor Randall, MD, FACS, is also a Professor of Orthopaedics and The L.B. & Olive S. Young Endowed Chair for Cancer Research, as well as the Medical Director, Surgical Services at Huntsman Cancer Hospital and Co-Directs the Huntsman-Intermountain Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology Program. As an active researcher, he Co-Leads the Sarcoma Disease Oriented Research Team overseeing collaborative, across-department research budgets.
Randall came to Huntsman Cancer Institute in 1998 after completing a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Washington-Fred Hutchinson-Seattle Children's Cancer Care Alliance. He graduated from Yale University School of Medicine in 1992 and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is the author of hundreds of scientific manuscripts, book chapters and abstracts in the field of sarcoma surgery and biology.
