Dr. Michael Froeschl is an Interventional Cardiologist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Froeschl completed his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before going on to McGill University to complete his medical degree. After a 3-year Internal Medicine residency at the University of Toronto he trained as a fellow in both Adult Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Dr. Froeschl has shown interest and skill in medical education, winning the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Fellowship for Studies in Medical Education and completing a master’s degree in health professions education in the Faculty of Medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
