Dr. Manish Suneja is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics where he serves as the Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Strand Director for Clinical and Professional skills (CAPS) curriculum at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Suneja has a very keen interest in teaching clinical reasoning to both medical students and residents. Dr. Suneja has authored numerous scientific publications and he is also one of the editors of the well-known clinical manual of physical diagnosis “DeGowin’s Diagnostic Examination” and “DeGowin’s Diagnostic Flashcards”. He has received numerous teaching awards and honors from medical students, residents and peers including the “Collegiate Teaching Award” and “William and Sondra Myers Professor in Medical Education.”
