Kristen Hallett, MD, FRCPC, LLM, is a Consultant Pediatrician at McMaster Children's Hospital. Dr. Hallett practised as a pharmacist until she completed medical school at McMaster University. She then completed her postgraduate pediatric training at McMaster. Dr. Hallett worked as a consultant pediatrician in Owen Sound for seven years during which time she was recognized for detecting the first pediatric cases of E.coli 0157 in the Walkerton Water Crisis. Dr. Hallett returned to McMaster in 2006, and maintains a consulting pediatric practice in Stoney Creek. A past recipient of a PARO Excellence in Teaching Award, Dr. Hallett obtained her Masters in Health Law in 2008.
