Dr. Jason Silverman is a pediatric gastroenterologist at the Stollery Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. He completed undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Nutrition in Toronto before working as a registered dietitian. He then completed his MD in Ottawa, Pediatrics training in Halifax and Pediatric Gastroenterology training and an MSc in Medical Education in Calgary. His clinical interests include the management of intestinal failure and nutrition support. He is extensively involved in medical education at the University of Alberta with an active interest in the flipped classroom and technology-assisted learning.
