Dr. Edwin Cheng is a gastroenterologist at the Peter Lougheed Centre and Clinical Lecturer with the Department of Medicine at the University of Calgary. He is also a Master Teacher with the Undergraduate Medical Education Program and Chair of the Introduction to Medicine, Blood and Gastrointestinal Course at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his teaching accomplishments and research in medical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He completed his MD at the University of Toronto, Internal Medicine training at the University of British Columbia, and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Calgary.
