Dr. Dawn DeWitt was the Regional Associate Dean for the Vancouver Fraser Medical Program, and former Associate Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education at UBC. Currently she is the Vice Dean of Student and Faculty Experience at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University. She is widely published in diabetes and speaks internationally on related topics. Dr. DeWitt is a co-author of the American College of Physicians’ (ACP) best-selling book Teaching in Your Office, and has authored and co-edited the ACP Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program (MKSAP) review for General Internal Medicine, and Chaired the Step 3 National Board of Medical Educators’ (NBME) Chronic Illness Committee. In 2014, she was elected to Mastership in the American College of Physicians, and is currently the ACP BC Governor Elect. Dr. DeWitt completed her MSc at Trinity College, Cambridge, and her MD at Harvard Medical School.
