Daryl Scott is the Associate Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his MD/PhD degree at the University of Iowa in 2000 before going on to serve as a resident in Pediatrics at the University of Utah in 2003. Because of his special interest in Identifying and characterizing genes responsible for common birth defects, Dr Scott went on to complete a Clinical Genetics residency ay Baylor College of Medicine. He participates in research to identify genetic associations of congenital diaphragmatic hernia and esophageal atresia/tracheoesophageal fistula (EA/TEF).
