Brock Vair, MD, is a Professor of Surgery and the Director of Education within the Department of Surgery at Dalhousie University. Currently the Clinical Director of the Simulation Education Network Project at Dalhousie University, he completed his residency in General Surgery at Dalhousie University and a clinical and research fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr. Vair, who recently completed a term as Chair of the Royal College Examinations in General Sugery, has received Dalhousie Medical School’s Silver Shovel award - given for “Professor of the Year” in 1997, 2011, and 2013.
