Dr. Allison Ball is a Gynecologic Oncologist currently working in Halifax, NS. She graduated residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dalhousie University then pursued a fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at the University of Calgary. She subsequently worked in Pennsylvania, and returned to Canada in the fall of 2014. She enjoys the challenge and fulfillment that come with working with cancer patients, both from a personal and professional perspective. She participates in medical volunteer work in Kenya where she helps with skill development for local gynaecologists to learn to manage gynaecologic cancers in a low resource setting. She has a four-legged family including a dog and a horse.
