Alexa Smith, MD, FRCPC, is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology with Dalhousie University. She completed her medical degree at Dalhousie University and her core Internal Medicine training at the University of Ottawa. She then returned to Dalhousie for her Rheumatology fellowship. She has a keen interest in medical education and is currently completing her Masters in medical education through Acadia University and Dalhousie University.
