Dr. Alan Blank is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He then attended Chicago Medical School and garnered significant awards during his four years including the Gold Humanism Award, the Dean's Award and was elected president of his medical school class. In addition to his medical degree he also earned a masters in biomedical sciences. Dr. Blank completed his orthopedic surgery training at the NYU-Hospital for Joint Disease. Dr. Blank is currently completing his fellowship in sarcoma surgery and orthopedic oncology at the prestigious Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, under the leadership of Dr. R. Lor Randall and Dr. Kevin Jones. He has a particular interest in benign and malignant tumours of bone, cartilage and soft tissue, as well as metastatic disease.
